Mirrors [Kickstarter]

[KickStarter] Mirrors

Here is a game from Kickstarter

- Please enjoy and consider backing this project! -

Mirrors is about two conscious forms of energy called Black Lotus and White Lotus. They are formless, enlightened beings that flow across the Multiverse, spreading beauty and compassion. However, from time to time, they assume physical forms and incorporate themselves into a certain aspect universe’s nature. In doing so, they develop a sense of self and an Ego separate from the Multiverse. However, in order for Black Lotus to exist as a self, White Lotus must cease to exist and be converted into Energy as a self and in order for White Lotus to exist as a self Black Lotus must cease to exist and be converted into energy. Creation in Black Lotus’s Universe may be construed as Destruction to White Lotus’s Universe. Ultimately they are one and every action initiated by Black Lotus is reciprocated by White Lotus. Black lotus is, White Lotus is not. White Lotus is, Black Lotus is not. There is no separation between them, they merely are.

Its Hump Day...Lets RolePlay[ #01 Part of "Allwënn: Soul & Sword"]

Description:
FREE Part I of "Allwënn: Soul & Sword"
"I was there when Allwënn decided to baptise his sword with her name.
When he refused himself a heart that he truly owned.
When he wanted to die and we did not let him.
I was there...
Somehow, I think I am still there..."

This is the legend of the indomitable Allwënn, son of elves and dwarves. A man who sometime wanted to die, a man who sometime loved a woman, a man who sometime was not a man, but a beast. This unique graphic novel is one of those rarities than only authors themselves can develop. An intense tale of strong, evocative prose with stunning color illustrations.

Full edition includes an extra Art book at the end, with sketches and step by step digital paintings.

"Allwënn will enter our lives and the blade of his sword will scratch our entrails."

Star Viking

"Raiding vessels sweep across the star systems to loot glittering worlds. In system after system, dark cruisers materialize from hyperspace, launching a cloud of fighters to vaporize the local in-system patrol boats -- then comes the savage plunder of whole planets by powersuited raiding parties and grav-armor detachments."
"Scattered thinly across the Outrim sector, the frigates of the Federate squadron desperately deploy, attempting to weld the undermanned planetary defenses and low-tech local militias into a cohesive force capable of resisting the star-born horror from beyond the rim -- the coming of the STAR VIKINGS."

"STAR VIKING is a game of interstellar raiding and plunder for two players. Using a unique system of 12 mapboard tiles to represent the various star systems in the Outrim sector, it captures the tense uncertainty and the sudden, flashing battles of an interstellar war. Units represented include Viking cruisers, sloops, and fighters. Federate and local frigates, battle-cruisers, and patrol boats, as well as raiding detachments, security forces, grav-armor units, specialized warfare pods, and conventional low-tech armed forces ranging from atmospheric aircraft to stone-age hordes."

Forces of Evil

The kingdom is at peace, protected by the Forces of Good, but they have grown lax and weak. The Forces of Evil gather to overthrow them. But who shall rule in Good’s place? As a Force of Evil yourself, it is up to you to emerge from the conflict supreme.
Forces of Evil is a dungeon-building strategy game for 2-6 players. You and your friends are working to defeat The Forces of Good. You need to build a dungeon, hoard treasure, and recruit minions (as well as keep them happy). However, The Forces of Good will rally against you and attack! You must successfully defeat these ambitious adventurers or they will ruin your plans! At the same time, you must find ways to undermine the other Forces of Evil to insure your own victory. When the last hero falls, the most powerful Force of Evil will rule the land!
Players use actions from cards placed on the gameboard to persue their strategy for winning. Players draw new cards to advance their position or hinder others'. Tokens are used to represent units in players' dungeons as well as heroes fighting against them. The combat element of the game is resolved using dice.
The game ends when either the last Castle Garrison falls or the last Card of Light is drawn, triggering Armageddon. Players are awarded bonus influence points for achieving certain strategic goals. Then each player tallies his power, wealth, and prestige as measured in influence, treasure, and defeated heroes. Whoever has the highest total claims rulership over the kingdom and wins the game!

Inspector Moss

Inspector Moss must investigate the mysterious death of millionaire baker, John Dough, who has been found battered at his stately country manor during a social gathering in the bachelor’s home. With an injunction in place to keep the guests from leaving, Moss has only a short window of opportunity to investigate and question the suspects. Can he eliminate the innocent and arrest the culprit before the injunction expires?
In this game, you get to play as Inspector Moss, exploring a 25-room house consisting of tiles. Each tile contains either a suspect, evidence that can be used to eliminate suspects, or something to assist you in solving the case in time.
On each turn, you roll 7 white dice and 1 colored "time" die up to 3 times. You may then use up to 6 of the dice for movement (by matching the number on the destination tile), for gathering evidence (with any 4 consecutive dice), and for getting assistance (with any 3 matching dice). After performing any actions, you must move the time marker down a number of spaces equal to the number shown on the time die plus 1 minute for every wild 6 that was used for an action.
There are 10 possible suspects in the game. Once you have collected enough evidence to eliminate 9 of them, you must arrest the remaining suspect and escort him/her to the waiting police car. If you can do all of this before time runs out, you win the game.

There is a Redesign to the graphics as well - New Theme: Worth checking out!  (Page 1 and Page 2)

The Salem Conspiracy

It's 1692 and dark magic runs rampant in the New World. A covenant of magic users is plotting to kidnap the members of 4 different merchant families that have been talking a little bit too much to the magistrates in charge of the witch hunt. But this is not an easy task: the practitioners will first have to collect the ingredients for the powerful spells – Lucky Clovers ♣, Bleeding Hearts ♥, Dead Man's Spades ♠ and Powdered Diamonds ♦. Only then they will be able to kidnap the members of the merchant families and bend the authority to their will!
The Salem Conspiracy is a dice drafting game that is played with seven character cards, a standard 52 card deck and four 6-sided dice. At the beginning of the round, players roll the dice, which determines which of the seven character cards that are laid on the table can be used that round. Players take turns assigning the four dice to the different character cards and execute their abilities, which allows them to draw cards, impair their opponent or manipulate the deck or their hands of cards. If players are holding three cards of the same suit, they can choose to discard them at the end of the round and take a J, Q or K of the corresponding suit, provided they have used the specialized character on that round. The first player to get one J, Q or K of every suit under their control wins the game!

Dungeon in a Tin

Dungeon in a Tin is a solo or cooperative dungeon-hack. Players descend into a dungeon randomly laid-out from a stack of tiles, fighting through the orc and goblin hordes to rescue the kidnapped maiden and collect treasure and glory.

Each player takes turns to move through the dungeon one tile at a time, laying new tiles as unexplored areas are entered; every time a player enters a room, special monster dice are rolled to determine the enemies faced and the potential loot to be found. When a monster attacks, a die is rolled to determine the style of their attack; the player then chooses a card from his hand to counter with, each card being strong against some kinds of attack and weak against others.
The ultimate goal of the game is for the players to fight their way to the bottom of the dungeon to rescue the captured maiden - and then fight their way out with her. The dungeon will become harder to fight through as the player delves deeper, and then harder still on the way out with a helpless rescuee in tow.

Its Hump Day...Lets RolePlay[The Cooperative Dungeon Collection (01 - 04)]

Cooperative Dungeon 01 - Terror and Blasphemy The marilith, Blasphemy, has spent many years building up her complex and gathering minions to her aid. It is up to a strong group of adventurers to remove her from this plane, permanently, either for the good of all or in an effort to replace her as a rising evil force for others to fear.

With thirty encounter areas, and many traps, this adventure is big enough to be run over several sessions. Although designed as a 14th-level adventure, many of the encounters and tactics used by the creatures within border on the VERY difficult side. Experienced DMs might want to be prepared to give their players a break if they begin to complain, cry, or whimper...

Cooperative Dungeon 02 - Halls of Anarchy The Silver Coin Guild has a much darker side that goes well beyond the usual purview of thievery. Children have gone missing. Rescuing them and putting an end to this rising evil is not going to be an easy task.

Make sure your players have some extra characters in reserve for this deadly 7th-level trek.

Warning: Has the potential to contain mature themes...

Cooperative Dungeon 03 - Crypt of Damnation This crypt is both the former home to the cult of a dark god and a place of lost knowledge.

The history of the crypt is convoluted, and many who once used this crypt to house their dead have gradually died out or moved on, leaving behind only the uneasily slumbering corpses, and worse, to protect their unholy places from un-sacrilege. Since the last cultist passed, the tomb has remained sealed for the most part, though some have found ways to venture within.

Who will brave the interior of this deathtrap next?

Cooperative Dungeon 04 - Tomb of Chaos This very challenging adventure uncovers a burial place of dark secrets and corrupted use.

Once the tomb of the ancient king Toth Nekamek, lord of a quasi-Egyptian realm who lived several thousand years earlier, its great halls and secret chambers have been violated by unspeakable evil. The outer rooms dedicated to the worship of the jackal-god Chacal, have been desecrated and now house those with nefarious intent but that is only the tip of the pyramid. Deep within must surely lie the secrets and treasures of a forgotten empire, along with their vigilant guardians.

Can those who enter ever hope to come back out alive?

Zombie Plague

Scoville

The town of Scoville likes it hot! Very hot! That means they love their peppers – but they're too busy eating them to grow the peppers themselves. That's where you come in.
You've been hired by the town of Scoville to meet their need for heat. Your role as an employee of Scoville is to crossbreed peppers to create the hottest new breeds. You'll have to manage the auctioning, planting, and harvesting of peppers, then you'll be able to help the town by fulfilling their orders and creating new pepper breeds. Help make the town of Scoville a booming success! Let's get planting!
A round of Scoville consists of a blind auction, which determines player order, a planting phase, a harvesting phase, and a fulfillment phase. Each round, the players plant peppers in the fields. Throughout the game, the available opportunities for crossbreeding increase as more peppers are planted. When harvesting, players move their pawn through the fields, and whenever they move between two planted fields, they harvest peppers. If, for example, they harvest between fields of red and yellow peppers, they crossbreed those and harvest an orange pepper. Harvested peppers are then used to fulfill the town's peppery desires!

[Kickstarter] Stormy Weather

Here is a game from Kickstarter

- Please enjoy and consider backing this project! -

Stormy Weather is two player game about two mad scientists competing to win a gardening trophy, using a series of increasingly powerful weather machines. Play takes place on a 3x5 board, where each square has one of five types of weather. Players take on the identity (and abilities) of one of the mad scientists.
Players use their weather machines to move or create weather, with the aim of getting good weather to their side of the board or giving bad weather to their opponents. These can range from the humble remote control cloud to the gargantuan Noahmatic or the planetary realigner. Each machine can normally be used once per round, so the sequencing of play is important. At the end of each turn, sun and rain help gardens to grow, while heatwave and lightning cause them to wither and die.

The final action of the game comes from the play of a 'taunt' card, which contains a special, hidden move and an associated threat to yell at your opponent.
The player with the most flowers at the end of the game will be the winner.

Dig Down Dwarf

Here is a game from Kickstarter

- Please enjoy and consider backing this project! -

Dig Down Dwarf is a fast-paced dice game in which each player takes on the role of a dwarf chieftain in line for the throne. In the game, you roll dice to obtain gems from the mine. Gain the most valuable collection of gems, and you'll be crowned the new dwarf king!
On your turn, you draw two random gems from the bag and place them on the table. You then roll four six-sided dice. Certain gems require a certain number sequence in order to mine them; roll that sequence, and you can take all the gems of that type! As the game progresses, more and more gems will be added to the table, giving players choices as to which gems they want to try to mine. Sometimes you'll need to press your luck in order to succeed!
Once the bag runs out of gems, you enter the final round, with players needing to do their best to snag the last gems.

BullFrogs

Here is a game from Kickstarter

- Please enjoy and consider backing this project! -

“Just as water retains no constant shape, in warfare there are no constant conditions.” –Sun Tzu
Weapons clash, water splashes and the booming battle cries of armored bullfrogs ring out across the moonlit swamp. Amphibian armies leap from lily pad to lily pad in their desperate struggle to win control of the pond.
Suddenly, a shout of triumph rises up. Enough warriors have finally entered battle on a lily pad to dominate the fight and assure victory for their side. Overloaded, the lily pad sinks into the swamp.
Frogs scatter from the sinking lily pad to the surrounding ones, coming to aid their allies or sabotage their foes, their weight causing the lily pads to drift away across the cold, glittering water. The winning commander must understand the ripple effects of every move, and avoid acting to win a single battle at the cost of losing the war.

In Bullfrogs, 2-4 players ages 8+ take control of warring factions of frogs and fight over lily pads in a pond over the course of 20-40 minutes.
A player's turn consists of the following steps.
1. PLAY a Lily Pad Card from a hand of 3 cards to the table.
2. TAKE ACTIONS to Deploy Frogs or Bullfrogs to Lily Pad Cards or Sabotage another player's Frogs by pushing or pulling them to adjacent cards.
3. SCORE Lily Pad Cards that have all their spaces filled by Frogs and Bullfrogs. Calculate the strength of each faction to determine the winner. The strongest faction on the Lily Pad Card scores it and it sinks to the bottom of the pond. The weaker factions scatter to adjacent Lily Pad Cards and any disconnected Lily Pad Cards on the table shift to reshape the game board.
4. DRAW a Lily Pad Card.
